1. Service Description

DECODED is a creator valuation platform that calculates an "Online Social Net Worth" score by analysing social media accounts, streaming profiles, and other digital presence data you provide. The Service includes:

• A 0–850 presence score and dollar valuation based on platform metrics.
• Analysis across 49+ platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Spotify, Twitch, and more.
• A personalised dashboard with evaluation history and growth insights.
• Optional Pro subscription for unlimited evaluations and advanced features.

Scores and valuations are estimates only. They are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice. Actual brand deal rates, sponsorship income, or asset values may differ.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

• You must be at least 13 years old to use DECODED. Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent.
• You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
• One account per person. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits.
• You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use DECODED only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information (including fake follower counts or fabricated metrics).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service through automated means without written permission.
• Use the Service to defame, harass, or harm others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its servers.
• Circumvent any security measures or attempt unauthorised access to any account, system, or network.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations, including intellectual property laws.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without prior written consent.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and intellectual property within DECODED are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without explicit written permission.

By submitting social media handles or other content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that data solely to provide and improve the Service. You retain all ownership rights to your own content.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

Free tier

Your first evaluation is free. No credit card required.

Pro subscription

• Pro plans are billed monthly or annually as described on the Pricing page.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.
• You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Access continues until the end of the paid period.

Refunds

Refunds are issued at our sole discretion. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days of the charge at support@decoded.fm.

6. Privacy & Data

Your use of DECODED is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in that policy.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

• Scores or valuations are accurate or will match real-world outcomes.
• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Third-party data sources (social platforms, APIs) will be accurate or available.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DECODED AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in behaviour we determine is harmful to the Service or its users.

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Deletion permanently removes your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

9. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Safe Harbor

DECODED respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512). We qualify for the DMCA safe harbour for online service providers that respond expeditiously to notices of alleged copyright infringement.

Notice and Takedown

If you believe that content on DECODED infringes your copyright, please send a written notification to our designated DMCA Agent containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature;
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
• Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it;
• Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email);
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notification to our DMCA Agent. A valid counter-notice must include: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the removed content and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error; and your name, address, and telephone number.

Repeat Infringer Policy

DECODED has adopted and reasonably implements a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright. Users who repeatedly infringe third-party intellectual property rights will have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at support@decoded.fm. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.

You agree to bring any dispute or claim on an individual basis only — not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
